Our Mission
At The Children’s Path our mission is to awake and inspire possibility in children through enriched programs that nurture and preserve each child’s natural curiosity for learning.

Our Philosophy
The Children’s Path is a centre that offers your children a centre away from home. We want each one of your children to feel as though they are important and loved. This is why we say “with love, everything grows.” The Children’s Path incorporates Reggio inspired learning experiences along with the Ministry of Education’s “How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedogy for Early Years”; which places emphasis on natural settings, free expression, creativity and character development through quality programs that foster the development of the whole child, with love at the centre of it all. We want children to feel emotionally and physically secure in the environment that they are in, so that they can enjoy the learning that takes place, at their own pace. The Children’s Path is a place where children are encouraged to enjoy their childhood in an atmosphere that makes them see just how special and important they are.
The collaboration and partnership between parents and teachers are at the heart of a successful learning experience for the children in care. We encourage and value participation and communication from parents. The environment is seen as the third teacher in the Reggio Emilia approach and The Children’s Path places a great emphasis on nature and the environment. We believe in teaching children about living things, exploring both indoor and outdoor surroundings, and having children learn through everything around them.
At our centre we offer many opportunities for children to learn, this encompasses exposing them to endless learning materials, qualified staff that have a passion for teaching and most importantly peers to interact with in an atmosphere that is filled with love and uniqueness.
