REGGIO INSPIRED PRESCHOOLAGES 2.5 – 4 YEARS OF AGE
MONDAY-FRIDAY At The Children’s Path Preschool, we believe that preparing children for school is about so much more than teaching academics. It is about nurturing confident, curious and capable children who feel safe to explore, comfortable being themselves and excited to learn. Our goal is to create a gentle bridge between home and school—an environment where children can build independence, develop meaningful relationships and discover a genuine love of learning before taking their next big step. We have a strong background in and passion for the Reggio Emilia Approach, a philosophy we believe beautifully prepares children for school while still giving them the freedom to be exactly who they are. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, secure, valued and genuinely excited to learn. By following each child’s lead and observing their individual interests, we thoughtfully plan experiences that build upon their natural curiosity while gently guiding them toward important developmental and school-readiness skills. Our small-group setting allows us to truly get to know each child and provide as much individualized attention as possible. Throughout the day, children become comfortable following a routine while developing foundational skills such as pencil and scissor control, early literacy, mathematics and science through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Just as importantly, fostering social-emotional development—building confidence, independence, communication skills, friendships and a sense of belonging, is at the core of our philosophy. Above all, we want children to feel emotionally and physically secure in their environment so they can enjoy learning at their own pace. Our goal is for every child to leave us feeling capable, confident and excited for the next chapter as they transition into a larger school setting. |
